Leighton Morris
Hi I’m Leighton and I was born in North Nottinghamshire and was raised on diet of non-league football and my mums cooking.
I used to front the Worksop Guardian roadshow (remember that?) in my late teens and early twenties I have fond memories of jumping around on stage at various ‘Bassetlaw Shows’, and Christmas Light switch on in Retford
I’ve also had a dabble as a supporting artiste in TV shows including Peak Practice, Crossroads and Merseybeat.
I’m 45, been married to Rebecca for 21 years and have a wonderful son called William who is 11 going on late teens.
I have a fear of squirrels (that’s a story for another day),
My favourite meal is Jacket Potatoes and Burgers.
My hobbies are going to the cinema; I love the theatre ( I love a bit of Shakespeare), and I am an avid amateur runner (I’ve already got my place in this year’s Great North Run), training is well under way.
Join me every Saturday and Sunday morning for the Weekend Breakfast Show from 7am.
Features include :-
Saturday – The game everyone in Doncaster and Bassetlaw will eventually talk about ‘Whose Rear End Is It?’
Sunday, we’ll keep those brain cells working with the Totally Trivial Trivia Question.
Along with Career Callout, Lifestyle news, Birthday file, Facts to blow your mind and much more.
It’s the best way to wake up at the weekend.
